Vincent Van Gogh said “A good picture is equivalent to a good deed.”
This month at tart you’ll have the opportunity to buy good art and do a good deed at the same time. tart’s March show is Sunflowers: a group of vibrant paintings done by Head Start preschoolers that look like something Van Gogh’s mom might have put on the fridge. Proceeds from sales of original art, posters, and note cards benefit both the families of the young artists and the Head Start program which provides free preschool education for low-income families.
Join us for an opening reception on Friday, March 14th from 5-8pm during the Emerson Galleria’s Artwalk (a.k.a. Tartwalk).
