Contemporary native artist DG House celebrates the holiday season with the Grand Opening of her new Big Medicine Art Studio at Four Corners near Bozeman. House’s studio is open to the public during this special event, Friday, December 5, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Everyone is welcome to the studio to see works in progress, limited edition prints and visit with the artist.
House then presents her 14th annual Holiday Print Sale on two Saturdays, December 13 and December 20, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Big Medicine Art Studio. The prints are 8”x10” and 11”x14”, matted and bagged and are limited editions, signed and numbered. All prints are $15 and $30 and feature the wildlife and native peoples of the Rocky Mountain West.
DG House is artist in residence in Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park. Her paintings are in the permanent collection of the Smithsonian Institute’s Museum of the American Indian, the Indian Arts Museum in Grand Teton National Park and in private collections worldwide. House is represented by the Depot Gallery in Red Lodge, MT, A Horse of a Different Color Gallery in Jackson Hole, WY and in Bozeman at Indian Uprising Gallery.
