The work of artist Mary Keefer, in a show entitled As I Feel It–Abstract Landscapes, is on display at the Bozeman Public Library’s Atrium Gallery starting Friday, March 6, and continuing through March and April. Join the Library Foundation for an opening artist reception from 5:30-7 p.m.
Keefer’s current series of paintings includes whimsical and/or imaginary elements that reflect the wonder, beauty, and mystery of nature. She uses a combination of acrylic paint, charcoal, watercolor crayon, watercolor pastel and any other media that suit her intentions for any given painting. She paints on various papers, including rice paper, using the elements of color, shape, and texture to create a design that expresses her ideas and feelings.
