Project: ME call to creatives

Project: ME is a postcard exhibit that will be displayed at the Emerson’s NEW interactive community space, the art project at the Emerson. “ME” is all about you. Decide how you want to relay this to us visually -images or words- on the project postcard (which can be mailed to you). Be creative (this should be fun not work)! These art pieces will then be displayed on our project wall. The art will provide various interpretations of the theme and provide a unique viewing experience to the public. Each person interprets the same word differently. Some factors include native language, geographic location, age, and general view of the world. You don’t have to be a professional artist to participate in the exhibition. This project is about being creative and inspiring yourself and others, and participating in a group project.

More details are available here (PDF). Deadline for submission is October 4, for an opening October 8. Please call Cherlyn Wilcox at the Emerson office at 406.587.9797 or with any questions and/or to obtain a postcard.
