Art @ the Library

Local Artists at Work
Artists Jerolyn Dirks and Terry and Whitney Hall, exhibitors in the Bozeman Library’s Atrium Gallery, will be working on current painting projects in the lobby for the month of April while their show is displayed. Terry and Whitney will be painting live every Friday, beginning April 1 from 1:00 to 3:30 pm, and Jerolyn will paint on Tuesdays, beginning April 5 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm. The public can see original painting in progress, see how a painter operates, and ask questions about that piece or any of their artwork on display. This is a unique chance to see an artist at work!

Call for Local Artists!
The Bozeman Public Library Foundation requests submissions from solo and group artists to exhibit in the Atrium Gallery for 2012. The Atrium Gallery will showcase both traditional and innovative contemporary art forms, with each exhibit on display for one to three months. The Library is committed to exhibits that will expand the public’s appreciation of art, as well as reflecting the diversity of the community. Selections are chosen by the Library Art Committee, consisting of local artists, community members, and staff from the Library and Library Foundation. To apply for 2012 or to learn more, please see the Exhibit Proposal Guidelines at www.bozemanlibrary.org, or contact Paula Beswick, Library Foundation Director at 582-2426. Submission deadline is April 30!
