I am just now moving from Fresno to Bozeman and am in search of work space. Is there any warehouse or such available (decent price range) that will offer space available for painting, welding, lots of gluing and binding, video projections, whatever!!!
Back in the years between 94 – 97 there was a painting that sat within the galleries of Bozeman. I am not sure of which gallery since it was long, long ago. The Painting itself was a landscape. My best guess would be that it was from Belgrade since many of the cars, that were in the background, were rather dilapidated. The thing about the painting was that it incredibly in captured the essence of Montana for me. I had spent many times on all my hikes trying capture the essence through photography, but what I saw never seemed represented by the photographs that were taken. But the one painting seemed to encompass everything that I had been trying to photograph. In particular, the lighting and colors seemed to be perfect. The painting itself was rather large. It is the only painting that I have ever wanted to own. Does anybody have any idea of who this artist might be?
I am trying to locate Pete Stecher, the sculptor. Do you have a contact for him? I’d like to purchase some of his work.
Please include me in the list of Bozeman artists.
Love this site. We have so much talent in the area and it is great to see the artist organized in some form.
Thank you. Kirsten
