DG House Open Studio

Bozeman Artist DG House celebrates the season with her 16th Annual Holiday Open House and Art Sale. This event is held on two Saturdays, December 11 and 18, at the Big Medicine Art Studio west of Bozeman. The studio will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both dates.

DG’s unique style of original paintings, limited edition reproduction prints and relief block prints will be available. Also, for the first time, the sale will feature DG House T-shirts, tote bags, note cards, magnets, posters, post cards, ball caps, pens, wall and desk calendars and notebooks.

Contemporary native artist DG House celebrates the season with her 15th annual Holiday Print Sales on two Saturdays, December 12 and December 19, 2009, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This festive tradition takes place at House’s Big Medicine Art Studio near Four Corners west of Bozeman. DG House’s studio is open to the public for the events and everyone is welcome to view the prints and visit with the artist.

There are 80 different limited edition prints, signed and numbered, featuring the wildlife and native peoples of the Rocky Mountain West. Also, for the first time, House will offer very limited edition block prints. These linoleum prints will be premiered at the Heard Museum’s Indian Market in Phoenix, AZ, March 2010.

House is artist in residence in Yellowstone National Park and Grand Teton National Park. She was recently named to the Board of Directors of the Native American Residency Program for the Montana Artist’s Refuge, Basin, MT, and was honored to become an associate member of the Woman Artists of the West (WAOW.)

Artists converge for families fighting cancer

Nationally renowned artists DG House and Rocky Hawkins will be showing their works during an artists reception at Indian Uprising Gallery 5:30-7:30 p.m., Friday, June 5. Hawkins and House’s paintings will be joined by metal sculptor Pete Stecher of Bozeman and painter/multi media artist Cathy Weber of Dillon.

DG House: World Tour art sale

Contemporary native artist DG House kicks off her “World Art Tour” with a very special preview/sale of the new art prints for 2009. The World Tour Art Sale is Saturday, June 6, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at her Big Medicine Art Studio near Four Corners west of Bozeman. House’s studio is open to the public during this special event and everyone is welcome to be the first to view the new prints.

There are over 20 new prints that are 8”x10” and 11”x14”, matted and bagged and are limited editions, signed and numbered. All prints are $15 and $30 and feature the wildlife and native peoples of the Rocky Mountain West.

DG House is also one of the featured artists at the National Folk Festival’s First Peoples’ Marketplace in Butte, Montana, July 10 -12, 2009.

Her paintings are in the permanent collection of the Indian Arts Museum in Grand Teton National Park and in private collections worldwide. House’s studio is open to the public during this special event, Friday, December 5, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Everyone is welcome to the studio to see works in progress, limited edition prints and visit with the artist.

House then presents her 14th annual Holiday Print Sale on two Saturdays, December 13 and December 20, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Big Medicine Art Studio. The prints are 8”x10” and 11”x14”, matted and bagged and are limited editions, signed and numbered. All prints are $15 and $30 and feature the wildlife and native peoples of the Rocky Mountain West.
